Getting there
Marrakech Menara Airport (RAK)
Approximately a 15 minute drive from recommended Hotels.
*We encourage you to arrange transportation from the airport through your hotel. That said, there are taxis standing by should you choose (note: there is no Uber in Marrakech). Taxi fares fluctuate, but you can expect it to cost about 150 Dirham ($15 USD) to get from RAK airport to the city center.
There are two international airports that service the area: Marrakech Menara Airport & Casablanca Airport. There are various one-stop flights to Marrakech from most major cities in the US & direct flights to Casablanca from New York, DC and Miami.
Casablanca Airport (CMN)
Approximately a 2 hour and 15 minute drive or a 50 minute flight from recommended Hotels.
Sadly, there is no uber in Marrakesh. .
Therefore, taxi or getting a driver ( its pretty cheap) is the easiest way to get around.
Make sure you negotiate taxis before getting in and starting your ride.
Taxis by the city center will be MOST expensive as they know that is where they can get tourists. Your hotel will be able to call taxis & set the price for you whenever you leave the resort.
